NCT DREAM, a popular sub-group within the NCT brand, debuted in August 2016 with the bright, bubbly single ‘Chewing Gum’. Since then, NCT DREAM has released a wide variety of songs including ‘My First and Last’, ‘We Young’, ‘GO’, and ‘We Go Up’, presenting music and performances only teens can express, full of a wide range of emotions and images, from fresh and bubbly charms to a more powerful spirit.
NCT DREAM achieved their first entry into the ‘Billboard Artist 100’ chart with their 3rd mini-album ‘We Boom’. The group continued to prove their global rise as emerging artists with their following album ‘Reload’ in 2020, which hit No.1 on music charts in 51 different countries, No.1 on ‘Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart’ and on China’s QQ Music Digital Album Sales chart.
This May, NCT DREAM achieved their first ‘million seller’ status with their first full-length album, ‘Hot Sauce’ selling 1 million copies within a week of its release. And to follow up, they ascended to ‘double million seller’ status, surpassing 2 million total album sales in just 16 days. Title track ‘Hot Sauce’ was No.1 on iTunes Music chart in 37 countries around the world and gained ‘Platinum Album’ status from QQ Music, once again proving their steady rise as a top international act.
